This exciting event is for teachers, maths coordinators, and anyone else with an interest in maths education and school-industry engagement.

  • Meet and listen to some innovative mathematicians
  • Understand how maths is used in workplaces and what maths is important for their work\
  • Understand how maths is changing and what it may look like in the future
  • Gain some inspiration for ideas, rich tasks and projects that you can use in your classroom
  • Develop relationships with maths practitioners and engage with them in your school
  • Register your interest with AAMT about getting involved in school-industry maths exchange and professional learning
  • Learn about resources and opportunities from case studies presented by AAMT, CSIRO and the Advanced Technology Project
