Unpacking the Australian Curriculum – Health & Physical Education
Don’t miss out!
“In an increasingly complex, sedentary and rapidly changing world, it is crucial for every young Australian to not only be able to cope with life’s challenges but also flourish as healthy, safe and active citizens in the 21stcentury” (ACARA, 2019).
This workshop will unpack the aims, key ideas and structure of the Health and Physical Education (HPE) learning area of the Australian Curriculum. It will also provide participants to navigate HPE related resources housed on the Australian Curriculum website.
The session is conducted by Curriculum specialist Natalie Jonas (Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA)).
