Nature Play SA: The pedagogy of getting dirty: International Mud Day – a practical ‘how to’ guide

International Mud Day is celebrated on 29 June and is becoming an annual event for many learning communities. This session will support your planning with practical ideas and resources to create your own mud day celebration; links to curriculum, types of mud and soil to use and where to access parent handouts, history behind the ‘mud day movement’, health benefits of ‘getting dirty’ and learning theories to support your practise.
This session is designed to completely plan your muddy events this winter.
This session is for early years teachers and interested nature play community members. It will be facilitated by the Nature Play SA Education team.
Date: Thursday 6 June 2019 (please note the session is capped at 20 participants)
